Faith-Based Treatment Programs for Addiction
Addiction is neither a choice nor a moral failing; rather, it is a disease—one that can have a ravenous effect on all parts of the body. It weakens the body, ensnares the mind and pollutes the spirit, and any effective treatment method must address each of these dimensions.
That is something we are mindful of at JC’s Recovery Center, which leans on both evidence-based clinical treatment and spiritual counseling. We seek to provide freedom from addiction, anchored by belief in God’s love and grace. In seeking to provide freedom to our clients, we offer several different treatment programs to choose from.
What Treatment Programs are Available?
At JC’s Recovery Center, we take an individualized approach to addiction treatment. We understand that all people are different, and have different needs. As such, we provide several different paths to treatment, which include partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient and outpatient programs.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
The partial hospitalization program offers clients treatment in a structured, nurturing environment. We administer clinical treatment in accordance with a treatment plan that is individualized to each client’s needs. Moreover, our small, close-knit community provides our clients with friendships to lean on, and people to look to for encouragement and affirmation.
PHP offers structured, community living for our client as they pursue treatment. The program also provides our clients with the ability to take time to focus on themselves and their recovery with the help of our compassionate staff.
The SonShine Program
Consisting of both our IOP and outpatient treatment models, The SonShine Program represents a truly robust and comprehensive approach to addiction recovery—an approach that offers healing for the body, the mind and the spirit. This program is based heavily on the proven, decades-old methodology developed by the founders of the 12-Step Program. It is based on those same spiritual foundations, as well as a powerful affirmation of the Bible as God’s Word.
This program is open to members of all faiths, and includes evidence-based clinical treatment, education on 12-step principles, and study of scriptural foundations. This is an approach to treatment that works, and provides a foundation for lasting freedom.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Addiction recovery requires a commitment—but sometimes, our clients also need to stay plugged into their work and school activities. That is why we offer intensive outpatient care, which provides robust clinical treatment and counseling that is scheduled around other commitments; this allows our clients to participate in treatment during the evenings and on weekends.
This is an especially valuable program for those who have already been through detox or an inpatient drug rehab, but are looking to stabilize their sobriety, or renew their commitment to recovery.
Your addiction recovery may start here at JC’s Recovery Center, but that is not where it should end. The whole point is for you to take your recovery with you, back into your everyday life—into home, work, school and relationships. Recovery is meant to set you free to live a life of health, happiness and fulfillment. Our outpatient program is meant to provide the ongoing treatment you need while also allowing you to rebuild your life.
Through our outpatient services, we seek to provide our clients with the tools they need to cope with life’s challenges and to continue thriving well after they leave our residential care.
At JC’s Recovery Center, we do not just treat those who are struggling with addiction. We help their family members too. Addiction is often referred to as a family disease, as it affects everyone within the individual’s immediate circle. Often, partners, spouses, friends, parents and other family members require hope and healing of their own, which is something our family program seeks to provide.
