Christian Addiction Treatment. Let’s be frank. There is a lot of money to be made in the treatment center business- a lot. For the most part, the efficacy of a treatment facility will depend on their desire to truly help their clients or truly help their pockets. Many treatment centers bypass the importance of a 12-step program, a higher power and the central idea that the disease of addiction is caused by a spiritual malady and therefore needs a spiritual solution. Why? The answer is simple. It is not marketable. In a world where popular culture is indifferent toward God, why preach the good news of salvation from addiction through a power greater than ourselves? It doesn’t make financial cents- pun intended.
But what happens when you put 3 recovering drunks together who know their only hope at continuous sobriety is helping others and spreading the word of the redemptive grace of God? You get JC’s Recovery Center; a faith-based treatment center. We were founded by 3 individuals who have struggled with addiction first hand. They know personally of the addict’s loneliness, desperation and humiliation. They also know how to pull through that hopeless state of mind and body and go on to live WONDERFUL lives.
Our founders have dedicated their lives to the service of others. It is not just the Christian way, but the recovery way. It is with deep knowledge and understanding that we have designed our program, policies and customs. It may sound a little cliché, but our program was designed by addicts, for addicts. We have used our personal experiences along with the most contemporary treatment approaches available to help the addict and alcoholic achieve sobriety.
